GTM Strategy · October 6, 2026

Strategy is not your bottleneck. Execution is.

Most GTM plans fail in the weeks after the offsite. Here is how to close the gap between the deck and the pipeline.

Most teams we meet have a reasonable GTM strategy. They know their ICP, they have a value proposition, and they have a revenue target. What they lack is a consistent weekly motion that turns that plan into conversations.

Where plans break

The plan breaks at handoffs: from positioning to messaging, from messaging to sequences, from meetings to qualified opportunities. Each handoff loses momentum when no one owns it end to end.

What to do instead

Pick one segment, one message and one channel mix. Run it for six weeks with clear weekly targets for accounts touched, conversations and meetings. Review what converts, cut what does not, then scale.

The takeaway

Treat GTM as an operating rhythm, not a document. The team that runs the most disciplined weekly loop usually wins, even with an average strategy.
